Health Beats | Talks

More than ever, we know that global health is much more than only clinical practice, medical solutions or public health interventions; it is all about the communities, their cultural and religious values as well as their socio-economic conditions, the underlying governmental systems, and the environmental and animal health of each context.

Global Health is everywhere. And that was the reason why last year four students brought to life a congress on this major topic. For this second edition, we decided to change the structure of the activity by creating talks in order to provide students with information throughout the whole year. Nevertheless, our mission is still the same: we seek to raise awareness and motivate medical students and the community in general to learn more about Global Health, given the lack of opportunities to complement our curriculum in this area.
